Tarmac Repair

Tarmacadam, also known as Asphalt, is a popular surface for driveways and pathways.

When new it has a large amount of resin in the surface, resulting typically in a dark grey, virtually black colour. Over time, due to weathering, UV light and vehicles driving over and parking on the surface, it gradually loses that resin and turns ever-lighter shades of grey to indicate the fact.

If left for too long, the next stage of deterioration is generally 'fretting,' where small stones start breaking away from the surface. Often cracks will also start to appear and widen.

In the past, the only solution was to dig up the drive and lay fresh Tarmac, at great expense.

New developments in the last five years have given us Tarmaseal™ Tarmac Restorer which soaks right into the surface and replaces those resins which have been lost. Tarmaseal™ is far superior to the bitumen-based  tarmac paint that are often sold both online and in DIY stores. Tarmac paint tend to sit on the surface and can peel off! Please click the link above for further information.

It's a very easy product to apply yourself with a long-handled roller kit, so if you like DIY or would like to save yourself a considerable sum, please click the link above to go to the Tarmaseal website and the products can be delivered to your door in 2 - 3 working days.

If you decide the DIY option is not for you, we're based locally in Rayleigh and we'll be pleased to come and give you a FREE no-obligation quote. We can also carry out basic tarmac repair to edges that have broken away, cracks and potholes.
